Construction features

  • Aerodynamically profiled splitter frame (radius > 15 mm) that enables a reduction of turbulence both upstream and downstream; frame with grooves for increased rigidity
  • Frame edges are folded to protect the infill
  • Operating temperature up to 100 °C (construction with perforated sheet metal up to 300 °C for 3h max.)

Functional description

The attenuation effect of the splitters is due to absorption and resonance.

The splitters have a mineral wool infill as absorption material. Part of the splitter surface that runs parallel to the airflow is covered with resonating panels. These panels start oscillating due to the sound (resonance) and hence absorb sound energy. Resonance works best in the frequency range of critical fan noise.

There is a higher attenuation across a wider frequency range when compared to mere absorption splitters.

La lujosa cadena de hotels Ritz-Carlton seleccionaba la Plaza Roja en la calle Tverskaya, el principal boulevard de esta parte de Moscú. Una terraza cubierta con el piso doceavo proporciona una fabulosa vista del Kremlin, la Plaza Roja, la Catedral de San Basilio y la Catedral del Cristo el Salvador. Formada por 334 espaciosas habitaciones y suites, el magnifico edificio, construido siguiendo el estilo de la Rusia Imperial, ofrece una exquisita e incomparable ambiente de confort. En su interior dominan la calidad de los materiales seleccionados principalmente mármol y finas maderas.
Para este proyecto, TROX desarrolló un sistema de ahorro energético y aislamiento climático formado por difusores de aire, toberas y reguladores de caudal de aire, sino que también incorporaba silenciadores de celdillas MKA 100 y MKA 200. El perfil de las celldillas favorece la entrada del caudal de aire reduciendo hasta un 30% la pérdida de presión en comparación con una celdilla convencional y permitiendo una reducción en el consumo de energía durante el funcionamiento de la instalación. Estas celdillas han sido higiénicamente ensayadas según la norma VDI 6022.
Los sistemas de climatización están sujetos a cumplir con elevados estándares, especialmente en materia de confort y protección contra el ruido. En el epicentro de la ruidosa capital rusa, el hotel Ritz-Carlton se convierte un oasis de paz y confort.
