Born in 1953, Mr. Brinkmann began his professional career at TROX GmbH on 1st September 1977 as Deputy Head of Controlling having completed his "Diplom-Betriebswirt" degree (approximates an MBA) at the University of Bochum.
In April 1993 he was appointed as head of Accounting. In May 1995, after two successful years in this position, he became Divisional Manager for Finances for TROX GmbH.
Since 2nd September 2008, Mr Brinkmann has been been a member of the TROX GmbH Board of Management. He is responsible for Finances, Human Resources, Acquisition, Information Technology, and Electronic Business.
